Texas Pete® Scrambled Egg & Bacon Pizza


    • 1 cup plus additional for garnish Texas Pete® Medium Salsa, drained
    • 6 Eggs
    • 1 tbsp Milk
    • 1/2 tsp Texas Pete® Hot Sauce
    • 1 tsp Kosher salt
    • 1/4 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 tbsp Unsalted butter
    • 1 – 12 inch Precooked pizza crust
    • 1 3/4 C Monterey Jack cheese, thick shred
    • 1/2 C Bacon, cooked and crumbled


    PORTION (Serving Size):

    1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
    2. Beat eggs, milk, Texas Pete® Hot Sauce, salt and pepper together.
    3. Preheat a medium nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
    4. Melt butter and swirl to coat the pan.
    5. Pour in egg mixture and scramble until eggs just begin to form soft curds.
    6. Be careful not to overcook eggs, as they will continue to cook in the oven.
    7. Place pizza crust on a perforated pizza pan.*
    8. Spread 1 cup of drained Texas Pete® Medium Salsa on top of the crust.
    9. Spread the softly scrambled eggs over the salsa.
    10. Sprinkle cheese and bacon evenly over eggs and place pizza into oven.
    11. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    12. Cut pizza into 6 slices and garnish with additional salsa dollops as desired.

    *Pizza can be assembled, then baked directly on a preheated pizza stone.
