    Texas Pete® Corn Pico and Shrimp Avocado Toast


    Avocado Toast

    • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and seeded
    • 1 Tbsp. ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce
    • 2 slices pumpernickel bread

    Corn Pico and Shrimp Toppings

    • 1 C frozen corn, whole kernel, thawed
    • 1 C halved tomato medley (grape tomatoes)
    • 1/3 C thinly sliced red onion
    • 1 tsp. chopped parsley
    • Juice of 1 lime
    • 2 Tbsp. ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce
    • ½ lb. 16/20 count (extra large) shrimp, steamed, peeled, and deveined
    • Salt
    • Pepper


    A spicy blend of ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce, corn, onion, tomatoes, and shrimp makes avocado toast a great idea for any time of day.

    1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine corn pico and shrimp topping ingredients and mix well.

    2. In another medium mixing bowl, combine avocado and ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® and mash with a fork.

    3. Toast bread.

    4. To serve: Top one side of toast with avocado spread, then add corn pico topping and shrimp; season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
