    Avocado Toast

    • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and seeded
    • 1 Tbsp. ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® Mexican-Style Hot Sauce
    • 2 slices pumpernickel bread

    Muffuletta Topping

    • 1/3 C drained, chopped green olives
    • 1/3 C seeded, drained, chopped Kalamata olives
    • 1/4 C finely chopped parsley
    • 1/4 C chopped pimento
    • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh oregano
    • 2 Tbsp. Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce


    For some New Orleans-style flair, try this Muffuletta Topping recipe on avocado toast, featuring olives, parsley and oregano, and Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce!

    1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine muffuletta topping ingredients and mix well.
    2. In another medium mixing bowl, combine avocado and ¡Sabor! by Texas Pete® and mash with a fork.
    3. Toast bread.
    4. To serve: Top one side of toast with avocado spread, then add muffuletta topping (2-3 Tbsp. per serving). Remaining topping can be refrigerated for later use. Serve immediately.
