Texas Pete® Fiery Sweet Onion Ketchup


    • 1 C Ketchup
    • 1/3 C Texas Pete® Fiery Sweet Sauce
    • 1/3 C Yellow Onion, caramelized
    • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil


    1. Start by small dicing 1 whole yellow onion.  Place a large sauté pan on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.  Once heated on medium heat add the diced onions.  Cook for approximately 30 minutes stirring occasionally until the onions reach a rich dark brown color and are very sweet.  Remove from the heat and cool. Yield approximately 1/3 cup caramelized onion.

    2. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together until fully incorporated.  Place in an airtight container and keep refrigerated.
