Texas Pete® Fiery Sweet Onion Barbeque Sauce


    • 1 C Barbeque Sauce
    • 1 C Texas Pete® Fiery Sweet Sauce
    • 4 C Yellow Onion, to carmelize


    1.     Start by dicing 4 cups worth of Vidalia onion.  Place a large sauté pan on medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.  Add the diced onion and cook for approximately 30 minutes stirring occasionally until the onions have cooked down by ¾’s and are rich dark brown and taste very sweet.  Add a pinch of salt and set aside to cool.   Measure 1 cup of caramelized onions for the sauce.

    2.      Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together until fully incorporated.  Place in an airtight container and keep refrigerated.
