Texas Pete® Deviled Mocha Beef Tips


    • 16 oz. Sour Cream
    • 3 tbsp Texas Pete Original Hot Sauce
    • 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
    • 1 tsp Kosher salt
    • 1/4 tsp Pepper
    • 12 oz Texas Pete Original Hot Sauce
    • 2 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
    • 2 tsp Kosher salt
    • 1/2 tsp Pepper
    • 1/2 C Cilantro, chopped
    • 5 lbs Beef Tips or Sirloin Tips
    • 15-20 skewers


    YIELD: about 16 skewers
    PORTION (Serving Size): 1 skewer and 2 tbsp lime sour cream

    1. For Lime Sour Cream, stir together sour cream, Texas Pete Original Hot Sauce, fresh lime juice, salt and pepper until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
    2. Combine allTexas Pete Original Hot Sauce, Unsweetened Cocoa, Kosher Salt, pepper and chopped cilantro and mix well.
    3. Place meat in large, sealable container or bag.  Add marinade and  allow marinade to coat.
    4. Refrigerate 48 hours. 
    5. Drain meat before cooking.  Discard marinade.
    6. Thread 4 tips onto each skewer.
    7. Grill to desired doneness.  Serve with Lime Sour Cream.
