CHA! & HONEY GLAZED BACON BLT WITH A TWIST

    Ingredients

    • 10 Bacon slices
    • 10 Hawaiian sweet rolls, griddle to golden brown
    • 5 oz. Butter, soft to spread on roll for griddling

    GLAZE

    • 5 Tbsp. CHA! by Texas Pete® Sriracha Sauce
    • 1¼ C Honey

    DRESSING

    • 1¼ tsp. Texas Pete® Dust
    • ¼ C Mayonnaise
    • ¹⁄8 C Lemon, charred, juice
    • Salt, kosher

    GARNISH

    • 10 Iceberg lettuce leaves, cut into 2½” squares
    • 10 Tomatoes, Roma, ¼” slices

    Directions

    Blend the glaze ingredients together and set aside.

    Blend the dressing ingredients together and set aside.

    Place sliced bacon on parchment paper-lined sheet tray.

    Brush the bacon with the glaze and place into 350°F oven for 5 minutes. Repeat glazing the bacon until it is crisp and nicely glazed.

    When cooled, cut bacon into thirds and set aside.

    Toast each bun on both sides with the dressing on each bun half.

    Layer the sandwich ingredients: bun, dressing, lettuce, tomato, glazed bacon, and bun.

    Skewer through the top of bun and serve.
