CHA! Sizzling Chicken Cheddar Melt


    • 1-2 1/2 lb. Cooked Rotisserie Chicken
    • 1/4 C. CHA! by Texas Pete
    • 1 1/4 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    • Salt and pepper To Taste
    • 8 Slices bread, your choice
    • 1/4 C. Butter


    1. Pull and shred all the meat from the rotisserie chicken and place in a mixing bowl.
    2. Add the CHA! By Texas Pete®, shredded cheddar cheese and the salt and pepper to the shredded chicken meat and mix well.
    3. Lay out 8 slices of sandwich bread on a clean work surface.
    4. Portion the spicy shredded chicken between 4 slices of bread followed by the tops and sandwich them down tightly.
    5. Place the ¼ cup of butter into a cast iron skillet and turn the heat on medium.
    6. When the butter is melted, carefully place the sandwiches into the skillet and cook them for approximately 3 minutes or each side or until golden brown, crispy and with an internal temperature of 155 degrees.
    7. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
